Bex Richo is an Australian fantasy author, entrepreneur and creator of soulful worlds where heart, magic and destiny collide.

Inspired by her own sons, her inner child and her lifelong love of mythic storytelling, Bex created the Octavia Saga — an emotional, high-stakes fantasy journey about courage, family, identity and the fire we carry within us.

Before becoming an author, Bex built award-winning heritage accommodation businesses in Tasmania, where storytelling, atmosphere and human connection became part of everyday life.

She is also the founder of The Harpy Foundation — a philanthropic initiative dedicated to supporting changemakers who empower young people through courage, creativity and heart-led impact.

LIFE off the page

Bex lives on the Gold Coast in Australia with her teenage sons, Hux and Nate, and two extremely opinionated cats, Rocky and Puss.

When she’s not writing, building businesses or plotting character reckonings, she’s opening her house to the local tribe of teenagers, watching heart-filled anime with her boys or surviving Rocky’s constant bids for attention.
